De roos ´Acropolis´ voor het tweede jaar in de tuin en het begint nu echt wat te lijken. Vorig jaar was ik nog niet bijster enthousiast betreffende de kleurstelling, maar nu de roos tot volle wasdom is gekomen, is ze toch wel heel bijzonder van kleur.

Het is een zeer goed bloeiende Floribunda roos, gekweekt door Meiland in 2001. Ze bloeit herhaaldelijk, heeft zoals U ziet goed gevulde bloemen met een ongewone kleurschakering en een zachte geur. Ze is ook geschikt als snijroos en blijft lang goed op de vaas.
